Raspberries, pepper and sweet fruit are scented on the nose. French and American oak underlying the fruit gives a strong and tight integration of tannins showing nice strength and support with balance. The low yields produce a wine of lifted intense aromas that will see the wine develop over a period of time into complex characters. This Shiraz has been aged in 60% new French and American oak while the remainder aged in one year old French oak for 16 months.
