The aroma is of vanillin glazed raspberry confection and the strength of plums and fresh cracked pepper. Fruit is derived from a combination of young and 65 year old vines, then aged in 500L American oak puncheons and 300L French oak hogsheads. The fine grained American oak tannin giving adds firmness and structure which will integrate and soften over time.
