Tough scrutiny makes great wines. There is no pressure to make products every year, the products make themselves. From a cool and long ripening came one of the best vintages for red wine from Mclaren Vale. After from maturation and barrel select came a reserve petit verdot cabernet sauvignon Selection is decided by oak characters and integration. This decision is made on how the fruit intensity shines above anything else. Petit Verdot is well suited to Mclaren Vale climate. It ripens slow with long hanging time on the vine giving rich and vibrant flavours. It has natural high acidity and tannin when harvested which gives it personality unique to this variety.
