2014 SELDOM INN SHIRAZ
2014's vintage was filled with heavy winter rains, followed by a dry and windy springtime and complemented with a very hot summer to boot. This meant a season of all extremes for us. This Shiraz being picked after the February rainfall shows good varietal character.
Upon approaching the wine, you are greeted with the aroma of stylish French Oak influence, black peppercorns and cured meats underlined with dark berry fruits. On the palate a soft and subtle fruit and oak blend followed by smooth tannin structure, makes this immediately approachable.
A full bodied Shiraz that has aged well and is currently in its prime to enjoy now.
