The stars and moons aligned after seven years and a single varietal Petit Verdot has been created. Its name translates in French into “little green one” but with McLaren Vale sunshine and climate it matures into little red delicious berries.

Describe as generosity of a Shiraz and structure of a Cabernet Sauvignon, it ticks all the requirements of a medium to full bodied Australian red wine with double character.

Matured in one-year old French puncheons for 18 months has helped it develop complexity with subtle hints of cigar box – pencil case with its fruit characters of violets and red berries

Fruit generosity and firm fine-grained tannin and natural acidity gives a firm and structural palate with its intensity of fruit from its small barriers creates a wine that is serious now and capable of aging gracefully.
