Reserves by Geddes
The Reserve range is only made in the years when the vintage is classified as extrordinary to some or all varieties.
To capture the best expression of variety and its character. The wine has been matured in 100% new French oak puncheons and hogsheads. The wine is aged in the cellars and released when the winemaker believes integration is balanced.
2008 GEDDES CABERNET / PETIT VERDOT
The Cabernet was aged in new French Oak 500L puncheons and the Petit Verdot was aged in new 300L French oak hogsheads for 24 months. While the Seldom Inn range of the Cabernet Sauvignon won two silver medals and a bronze, and the Petit Verdot won a trophy, 3 gold, 3 silver and many bronze medals, combining the two only strengthens the two.
2009 RESERVE PETIT VERDOT / CABERNET
As with all Geddes wine labels there is a process when all barrels are laid out and judged individually. It's not until the results are gathered that decisions are then made. Tough scrutiny makes great wines.
